CALL TO WORSHIP (Psalm 103:13-14, 17-18, 20-22)
Worship Leader: As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him.
Together: For he knows how were are formed, he remembers that we are dust.
Leader: But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children.
Together: with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts.
Leader: Praise the Lord, you his angels, you mighty ones who do his bidding, who obey his word.
Together: Praise the Lord, all his heavenly hosts, you his servants who do his will. Praise the Lord, all his works, everywhere in his dominion. Praise the Lord, my soul.

SONGS OF WORSHIP & PRAISE
Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee
Verse 1
Joyful joyful we adore Thee
God of glory Lord of love
Hearts unfold like flow’rs before Thee
Opening to the sun above
Melt the clouds of sin and sadness
Drive the dark of doubt away
Giver of immortal gladness
Fill us with the light of day
Verse 2
All Thy works with joy surround Thee
Earth and heav’n reflect Thy rays
Stars and angels sing around Thee
Center of unbroken praise
Field and forest vale and mountain
Flowery meadow flashing sea
Chanting bird and flowing fountain
Call us to rejoice in Thee
Verse 3
Thou art giving and forgiving
Ever blessing ever blest
Wellspring of the joy of living
Ocean depth of happy rest
Thou our Father Christ our Brother
All who live in love are Thine
Teach us how to love each other
Lift us to the joy divine
Verse 4
Mortals join the mighty chorus
Which the morning stars began
Father love is reigning o'er us
Brother love binds man to man
Ever singing march we onward
Victors in the midst of strife
Joyful music lifts us sunward
In the triumph song of life
His Mercy is More
Verse 1
What love could remember no wrongs we have done
Omniscient all knowing He counts not their sum
Thrown into a sea without bottom or shore
Our sins they are many His mercy is more
Chorus
Praise the Lord His mercy is more
Stronger than darkness new every morn
Our sins they are many His mercy is more
Verse 2
What patience would wait as we constantly roam
What Father so tender is calling us home
He welcomes the weakest the vilest the poor
Our sins they are many His mercy is more
Verse 3
What riches of kindness He lavished on us
His blood was the payment His life was the cost
We stood 'neath a debt we could never afford
Our sins they are many His mercy is more

CHILDREN’S TIME

SCRIPTURE READING: ISAIAH 49-14-18
But Zion said, “The Lord has forsaken me,
the Lord has forgotten me.”
“Can a mother forget the baby at her breast
and have no compassion on the child she has borne?
Though she may forget,
I will not forget you!
See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands;
your walls are ever before me.
Your children hasten back,
and those who laid you waste depart from you.
Lift up your eyes and look around;
all your children gather and come to you.
As surely as I live,” declares the Lord,
“you will wear them all as ornaments;
you will put them on, like a bride.

Prayer Time
Praise God for our identity as His children.
Pray for the Santiago Partnership in the ECC (The Santiago Partnership, as an international team of followers of Jesus Christ collaborating with the local church of Ecuador, South America, seeks to transform the lives of at risk children and their families, as well as serve underprivileged communities.) There is a home for at risk children and a medical clinic as part of their work.
Pray that we would be ambassadors of hope in this challenging season.
Pray for our frontline workers and government officials.

Before even time began
My life was in His hand

I have a Father
He calls me His own
He'll never leave me
No matter where I go

COMMUNION
Prayer of Confession
Forgive us, most gracious God, for what we have done to bring pain to your beautiful world: our hard and unkind words, our careless and thoughtless deeds, our lack of compassion and reluctance to render aid when it was in our power to help. Amen.
Words of Institution
Hear the words of our Lord Jesus Christ as they are delivered by the apostle Paul: “For I received from the Lord what I also handed on to your, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took a loaf of bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, ‘This is my body that is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.’ In the same way he took the cup also, after supper, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as your drink it, in remembrance of me.’ For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.”
Declaration of Forgiveness
Hear the good news! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us. Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know that you are forgiven, and be at peace. Amen.
Behold What Manner of Love
Verse 1
Behold what manner of love the Father
has given unto us
Behold what manner of love the Father
has given unto us
Chorus
That we should be called
the sons of God
That we should be called
the sons of God
