Celebration for the Johnson's
Karl and Jillian Johnson are celebrating the birth of Violet Everlee Johnson. Hanne Johnson and Bradon Pihowich are joining in marriage this June. If anyone would like to give a card and money gift for Violet and/or a card and money gift for Hanne and Brandon, drop them off at the church or at MaryAnn Friesen's house. Please have them in by Mother's Day weekend.
GREETINGS | ANNOUNCEMENTS
Covid 19 announcement: Online church services will resume for those who have an internet connection at home. For those who are unable to attend church online, there will be a worship service by invitation only beginning on May 9th.
The Canadian Foodgrains Bank Fields of Jubilee Grow Project Committee has organized the seeding of 80 acres of wheat east of Minitonas on Louisiana Pacific property and the seeding of 80 acres of wheat near Benito. If you would like to be involved in this local initiative by sponsoring a portion of the inputs for one or more acres of land at $50.00 per acre please feel free to mail in a cheque. Cheques are to be made payable to Valley Evangelical Covenant Church designated for the “Fields of Jubilee Grow Project”. The fund will close by June 27th. This is an opportunity to assist in feeding the hungry of the world.

Prayer Time
Thank God for the ECCC AGM. Thank God for the many churches that partner together in His kingdom mission.
Pray that we would exhibit the fruit of the Spirit and a desire to bless others despite new restrictions.Pray for our local businesses during this season.
Pray for upcoming seeding and rain to nourish the crops.
Pray for our frontline workers and government leaders.
